Cocker Spaniel Club of SA

The Cocker Spaniel Club of South Australia Incorporated was formed in 1954, when a group of Cocker Spaniel enthusiasts met to discuss the formation of a Specialist Breed Club. Their aim was to promote responsible ownership of the breed and to encourage the exhibition and breeding of pedigreed English Cocker Spaniels. An Open Show was their first Show and in 1955, the first Championship show was held.
